Message from the Chairman

Welcome to our web page. We have tried to make the layout as straightforward as possible and hope that after navigating through the site you will have a clear idea of what services we can offer and how we can assist you.
Our operations primarily cover two aspects - surveying and investigations and we are strategically positioned in three areas of the world so that our services can be made available to international clients and boat owners who are based regionally or to the cruising owner moving from Europe to the Americas who requires continuity in the event of a loss.

We have full time permanent consultants based in Spain, Greece and the Caribbean whilst the principals of the company, Ray and Amanda Ashton together with three other permanent members of staff are based in the Costa Del Sol in Spain and operate from each office on a rotational basis in order to service the large numbers of clientele in these areas.


According to many sources the number and size of casualties are increasing year by year in these regions and we are ideally situated to assist with all aspects of managing a loss or annual maintenance.

We retain a regional office in St Lucia in the southern Caribbean, particularly located for its central location, stability, communications and easy access to the USA and Europe.

Flying time from St Lucia to London is only 8.5 hours and to Miami a mere 3 making it an ideal base to assist boat owners across the Caribbean region.

The favourable weather patterns and challenging sailing conditions have made the Caribbean region popular with boat owners for many years but the strengthening economies and rapid development of sophisticated tourist facilities are making the area more popular than ever.

In November 2003 we formed our newest regional office in Spain, located in Marbella on the Costa Del Sol. This office is registered as InterClaims Worldwide S.L., which is a wholly owned subsidiary of R A & A Limited.

This office has now been designated the company Head Office and for the sake of rapid communications, co-ordination and efficiency, all enquiries should be forwarded to this office for immediate onward transmission to the most appropriate sub office where the enquiry will be dealt with.
